M6 Hydrofoil Mounting Screws

These are M6 Stainless Steel screws for any hydrofoil that uses the M6 T-nut, which which will work on all M6 Tracked hydrofoils.  These are Hex Head (socket cap), counter sink screws

New for 2020 is the full carbon, low profile FoilMount 3.0 Carbon.

This compressed carbon plate is not only beautiful it is also incredibly strong allowing it to be thinner than the original FoilMount.  This setup weighs just over 1lb so it is also about 30% lighter than previous models.  The new curved shape along with it's light weight and thinner profile make it incredibly low drag in the water.  You cannot tell there is a track mounted on the bottom of your board while using it without a hydrofoil.  We have also upgraded the included hardware.  Because this system is so thin we had to invent a new hardware set that would work with any base plate on the market call the Wizardhat Hardware.  Each FoilMount 3.0 Carbon includes a set of 4 Wizardhat hardware and they will allow you to attach any hydrofoil on the market to your FoilMount.

The FoilMount is a universal hydrofoil mounting system, this means that you can put a hydrofoil track on just about any board you already have.  

The FoilMount uses a specially designed 3M adhesive tape to stick to the bottom of your board.  It will accommodate any foil that uses the 90mm track system (this is industry standard).  It is a easy way to fix a broken track system.  It is also great for retrofitting boards with through bolt holes to give them the adjust-ability of a sliding track system.  The FoilMount can be removed but cannot be reused.  It is very easy to install, just prep the surface with alcohol, peel the tape backing, and stick!  Make sure you install the FoilMount on a flat surface on the board (no rocker, double or single concave).

Standard FoilMount
The standard mount is a flat plate that can be installed on any flat board surface.  It is suitable for most SUP boards, hydrofoil boards, Skim boards, Surfboards.  If you surface has some curve to it try the Ridge Mount system.  If you're trying to outfit a board with a tuttle box system or a windsurfing rig try the Hole Mount system.

The FoilMount needs to be mounted on a flat surface with no concave or tail rocker.  It can be removed but cannot be reused.  

 

Ridge Mount FoilMount

This is the standard mount with a relief cut down the middle allowing for a mount on top of a ridge on the bottom of the board. The surface still needs to fairly flat, but allows for a slight ridge where the FoilMount will be installed.  It is suitable for most SUP boards, hydrofoil boards, Skim boards, Surfboards.

The 2.0 Standard now includes:

• Upgraded FoilMount plate with one piece adhesive backing
• 4 high strength brass or stainless steel slider nuts
• 1 set of 4 flat head M8x16mm bolts for Slingshot, Liquid Force, Cabrinha, and most other hydrofoils.
• 1 set of 4 flat head M6x12mm bolts for Takuma Surf hydrofoils
• 1 set of 4 pan head M8x20mm bolts for Moses and older Liquid Force foils (instructions, alcohol pads, scotch-brite pad, FoilMount plate)

Wizardhat Hardware Set

This is the Wizardhat hardware only set.  If you just need some extra hardware

This hardware set will work with any base plate or 4-bolt tracked board on the market.  This included M8 or M6 base plates and tracks.  There is no more need for T-nuts or different sized bolts the Wizardhat will work on any.  Also, the way the bolt sticks up through the track on top makes it easy to line up with the base plate.

The Wizardhat hardware only set comes with 4 qty Wizardhat hardware (includes cone nut, t-bolt, and t-slider with a decal.   

*Be careful not to overtighten with the wrench as you will have a lot more leverage than the screwdrivers you have been using.

M8 Hydrofoil Track Stainless Steel T-Nuts

These are low profile replacement M8 Stainless Steel T-nuts for the any hydrofoil that uses the M8 T-nut, which just about all Tracked hydrofoils.  These are low profile meaning they are thinner than stock brass T-nuts by about 2.2mm from top to bottom but STRONGER.

M6 Hydrofoil Track Stainless Steel T-Nuts

These are Replacement M6 Stainless Steel T-nuts for the any hydrofoil that uses the M6 T-nut including Takuma, Naish and others  These are hard to get replacements that we now have in stock.  They are sold individually,  so if you need a set of 4 make sure to buy 4 of them.  Watch the video below for our testing of the M8 version against the brass version.

Extra brass T-nuts for your tracked hydrofoil.  These are salt water approved and perfect for all track systems.  They are M8 standard metric threads which is the convention for most hydrofoil tracks.
